Dr. Garzone is board-certified in Internal Medicine and graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and residency through Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Prior to medical school, Dr. Garzone completed a biology degree at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC.
Dr. Garzone’s experience includes general internal medicine, critical care medicine, hospitalist medicine, geriatrics, opioid addiction treatment, chronic pain management, hospice, and palliative care. His practice settings include inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and post-acute care. He has held several medical directorship roles and has received a Physician of Excellence Award. He is a member of the American Society of Regenerative Medicine, The American College of Regenerative Medicine, the Regenerative Medicine Foundation, the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, the International Orthobiologics Foundation, American Osteopathic Association, American Association of Physician Leadership, American College of Healthcare Executives, American College of Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Internists and Society of Hospital Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Internists, and Society of Hospital Medicine.
He is certified in hair restoration and shockwave therapy and is actively involved in clinical research. Throughout his career, he has been a collaborative supervising physician for many Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Erik Glaser is a board – Certified Public Accountant specializing in auditing for non-profit and for- profit entities, who graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Erik’s experience of over 30 years in the Public Accounting industry includes Medical, Law, Manufacturing Distribution, nonprofit, and government. He has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in New York and Pratt-Thomas, Gumb, PA (now FORVIS (prior Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP)) in South Carolina. Owns and operates as Managing Partner for Glaser and Company CPAs, formed in 2006, and serves hundreds of attest and income tax clients in our community.
He is board-certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, throughout his three-decade career, he has served the community as an active board member for Trident Academy (Treasurer), Lowcountry Food Bank (past Treasurer), and One-Eighty Place (Past Treasurer). He has also served as an adjunct professor at local universities and is often a keynote speaker for the annual nonprofit industry conference at Together SC.
